The Town of Rome Transfer Site is located at 1371 Apache Ave.

2026 Placards are now available at the Rome Town hall during regular business hours - 8:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and after January 1, 2026 at the Transfer Site during regular business hours listed below. You must provide proof of property ownership to obtain your placards and can be issued 2 per tax payer.

Memorial Day to Labor Day (summer):
Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday
9:00am – 5:00pm

Memorial Day to Labor Day ONLY
Open Mondays from 8:00am – 12:00pm

Labor Day to Memorial Day (winter):
Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday
9:00am – 4:00pm

SPECIAL HOURS OF OPERATION – the Transfer Site is CLOSED on Easter Sunday and Christmas Day (when the holiday falls on a Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday).  The Transfer Site is open on Memorial Day and Labor Day from 8:00am-12:00pm.
