The Town of Rome Transfer Site is located at 1371 Apache Ave.
2026 Placards are available at the Rome Town Hall during regular business hours - 8:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. They are also available at the Transfer Site during their regular business hours listed below. You must provide proof of property ownership to obtain your placards and can be issued 2 per tax payer.

9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Memorial Day to Labor Day ONLY
Open Mondays from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Labor Day to Memorial Day (winter):
Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
SPECIAL HOURS OF OPERATION – the Transfer Site is CLOSED on Easter Sunday and Christmas Day (when the holiday falls on a Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday). The Transfer Site is open on Memorial Day and Labor Day from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
