The Town of Rome Transfer Site is located at 1371 Apache Ave.
Proof of residency/proof of land ownership and license plate numbers are required for issuance of stickers.
The requirement of a current Town of Rome Transfer Site sticker will be strictly enforced.
The Town reserves the right to inspect loads entering the site for prohibited items and items requiring payment of fees. Please declare any items requiring payment to the gate attendant upon entering the site.
Contractors using the site MUST HAVE A CONTRACTOR'S PERMIT and show proof that waste being disposed of is from a property in the Town of Rome. Property owners cannot give a contractor performing work at their property their Transfer Site sticker for entry.
Effective February 12, 2025, all vehicles will be required to display the new windshield stickers to be admitted to the site. The mirror hangers will no longer be accepted for entry after the site closes for the day on February 9th, 2025.

- Transfer site stickers are available for purchase at the Town Hall Monday - Friday 8am-4pm. (Please have form filled out ahead of time).
- You can also purchase your Town of Rome Transfer Site sticker from Rome Outdoors! (Conveniently located at 251 State Highway 13; right next to Kwik Trip!) Please see their website for hours of operation.

$20.00 for the first sticker.
$10.00 for each additional sticker.

SPECIAL HOURS OF OPERATION – the Transfer Site is CLOSED on Easter Sunday and Christmas Day (when the holiday falls on a Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday). The Transfer Site is open on Memorial Day and Labor Day from 8:00am-12:00pm.
