The Town of Rome Municipal Court is located inside the Rome Town Hall at 1156 Alpine Drive. Court is held on the third Tuesday of every month beginning at 10:00 am.
Judge Mark Thibodeau is the presiding Judge for the Town. In any given month Judge Thibodeau processes approximately 40-60 Initial Hearings, 10-15 Pre-trial stipulations, and approximately 5-10 Review Hearing recommendations.
The Municipal Court is open to the public, except for juvenile cases. When juvenile cases are heard, the Court Room is cleared and re-opened when completed.
The Town of Rome Municipal Court proceedings begin at 10:00 am for Initial Appearances; 10:30 am for Review Hearings and Indigency Appearances. If a Pre Trial has been scheduled the time will appear on the notification mailed.
